Present a Python or R Workshop with Executable Code and no Local Setup Needed by Viewers
I frequently present Python and R code at conference workshops, meet-ups, and classes. Often you would like attendees to follow along on their own laptops. However, installing R, Python, and other dependancies on a room full of computers is a nightmare!
This is the technique I use to share a Google CoLab link that allows all of the attendees to follow along and execute their own changes to it. Also how I handle security on a conference provided computer! Google provides a free browser-based 12GB, dual-core environment with a GPU. Plus, it already has most data science packages loaded!
I tried this at the 2019 #SOAPredictiveAnalytics Symposium and it worked great!
