Matthew Berman uses early access to test GPT-6 Astra as both a builder and a computer operator. He asks it to create games, interactive 3D environments, websites and polished presentation material, then watches the model plan and execute work through browser-based tools.
The demonstrations emphasize end-to-end completion. Astra writes and revises code, checks rendered results and moves between research and production tasks without requiring every intermediate action to be specified. Berman presents this as a shift from a chat response toward a model that can sustain a project across several tools.
The examples remain demonstrations rather than controlled benchmarks, and the video notes that the experience is not uniformly instant or flawless. Even so, Berman argues that the breadth of successful outputs makes Astra materially more useful for creative and technical work than a model judged only by text quality.
