A natural-language editor translates a request such as changing an object, style or event into edits across relevant frames. It must understand the instruction, locate the target and keep identities, motion and unaffected content consistent.
Successful editing requires more than regenerating each frame independently. Temporal consistency, accurate selection and preservation of the original scene determine whether the result looks like one coherent video.
ELI5
Natural language video editing lets a person describe a video change in ordinary words. The AI finds the requested part and updates it across the clip.
For example, a user can ask to change a character's coat from red to blue. A good editor changes the coat in every relevant frame without changing the person's face, movement or the rest of the scene.
