He connects Claude Code to an image-generation API and a social scheduling API, while keeping credentials in the local environment rather than embedding them in prompts or project files.
Drake Surach develops the system manually before automating it. He collects visual references, defines a small palette and typography system, tests image prompts, and saves successful design decisions as reusable style instructions. A separate voice file is built through an interview and refined by flagging phrases, sentence patterns and framing that do not sound natural.
Drake Surach then converts a video transcript into a multi-slide social carousel. Claude Code extracts the narrative beats, generates and reviews the visual assets, prepares platform-specific files and drafts accompanying copy. Once the process is reliable, he packages it as a reusable skill that can accept a video URL, run the same workflow and stop for human approval before scheduling.
