Bilawal Sidhu presents God’s Eye View as an open source geographic interface for exploring aircraft, vessels, satellites and other public data. The demonstration distinguishes cinematic night-vision and thermal-style filters from the underlying tracking information: the visual effects create a surveillance aesthetic rather than establishing that the map is live satellite imagery. A contacts view groups nearby tracks and mapped installations, while a cockpit perspective follows a selected flight.
Bilawal Sidhu uses a voice assistant to move between locations, orbit buildings, switch layers and annotate areas. Examples include highlighting landmarks in Austin, marking parks and a lake, and animating a walking route between two locations. The assistant also supplies contextual explanations, although the demonstration does not independently establish that every explanation or requested action is accurate.
Bilawal Sidhu explores traffic and camera layers, undersea cables, dams and NASA FIRMS fire detections, then demonstrates geographic radio browsing and a rocket-ascent replay. The range of examples shows how spoken commands can reduce the effort of navigating a map with many layers. The live exploration interface is distinguished from the more demanding task of historical analysis, which would require additional data and workflow support.
