Perplexity Computer is presented as an orchestrator rather than one conversational model. It can divide work among agents, use different models, browse the web, connect external services and turn research into artifacts such as presentations or websites.
Its practical usefulness depends on how much setup and workflow detail the interface exposes. Requiring users to supply credentials, understand technical integrations and manage nested modes can weaken the value of end-to-end automation even when tasks technically complete.
