Power delivery spans grid connections, substations, transformers, distribution equipment, backup systems and the components that bring electricity to each rack and chip. High-density accelerators require large amounts of stable power in a small area.
A facility can own computing hardware that it cannot operate fully when electrical capacity is unavailable. Planning must account for peak load, reliability, conversion losses, redundancy, construction time and the energy required by cooling as well as computation.

Power delivery is the system that brings reliable electricity from the grid to AI computers. It includes much more than plugging in a machine because large clusters can use the power of a small industrial site.
For example, a company may receive new accelerators but be unable to run all of them until transformers, wiring and cooling power are ready. The chips exist, but the usable compute capacity does not.
