Visual composition controls where elements appear, how large they feel and how a viewer's attention moves through the frame. Scale, negative space, repetition, perspective and contrast can communicate isolation, tension, order or other relationships without explicit explanation.
Generative tools can propose many compositions quickly, but each must be judged for meaning as well as visual appeal. A coherent composition supports the intended concept through the relationship among elements rather than relying on one obvious symbol.
Empty space can isolate a subject, emphasize scale, create tension or give the viewer room to interpret relationships that crowded imagery would obscure.
Why evaluate composition separately from image quality?
