Pat Simmons gives Fable 5.1 a detailed goal file that asks the agent to research how polished explainer videos move, not merely how individual frames look. The agent samples reference footage, builds a reusable style guide, chooses a timely subject, researches it and writes the narration and scene plan.
The workflow then uses Replicate to call a video model for scene generation, a speech model for narration and a music model for the background bed. Fable coordinates those assets, edits them into one sequence and reviews burst-sampled frames of its own output before delivering the finished video.
The result costs about $15 for a one-minute 720p video and includes strong transitions, maps and collage-like motion, although Pat Simmons still sees visual glitches and a less natural finish than professional motion design. He presents the method as a practical way for small teams and non-specialists to prototype polished explainers, not as a complete replacement for human artists.
