Alex Finn presents Buzz as a collaborative workspace where people and multiple AI agents can share channels, project context and conversation history. Agents such as Codex, Claude Code, Hermes and OpenClaw can participate directly rather than being connected through separate plugins or copied prompts.
The shared environment makes adversarial workflows easier. Different agents can debate a research question, review one another's code or combine their conclusions, while the resulting messages and reasoning remain searchable. Centralizing this history is the main advantage because each participant can work from the same project decisions instead of maintaining a separate context silo.
Buzz also places repositories inside the workspace so humans and agents can create, edit and commit project code together. Its local-compute feature detects available machines, runs compatible local models and lets members share that capacity across a community, creating a pooled environment for collaborative building and inference.
Alex Finn sees the clearest value for teams that need multiplayer coding, shared research and traceable agent work. For intensive solo coding he still favors dedicated tools, but uses Buzz when multiple agents or people need to review, coordinate or contribute to the same project.
